Manchester City all-time leading high scorer Sergio Aguero was honoured by former City strikers prior to the clash with Arsenal.
Sergio Aguero ‘Goal King’ finally became Manchester City’s all-time highest Goal Scorer against SSC Napoli breaking Eric Brook as Man City’s all-time highest goal scorer 78-year records on 177 goals.
Former Man City stars from the past formed a guard of honour for the 29-year-old Argentine with Shaun Goater, Colin Bell, Niall Quinn, David White and Uwe Rosler all in attendance.
Prior to the Arsenal Clash, Sergio Aguero presented with a bespoke blue glass boot by club legend Mike Summerbee and Eric Brook’s daughter; Betty Cougill.
Club legend Mike Summerbee and Eric Brook’s daughter; Betty Cougill also presented Aguero with a mosaic of his goal celebration against Queens Park Rangers in 2012.

To celebrate Aguero’s fantastic achievement, Man City officially announced they are bringing out a new official Club book, Sergio Aguero: Goal King
There are 178 limited editions available. Each one will be signed by Sergio with a goal personally dedicated to the lucky owner. The limited edition copy of the 178 books will start at 10am today – Sunday 5 November – and will close once the 178th book is sold.
