Ligue 1 giants PSG are no longer keeping tabs on Manchester City full-back Bernardo Silva with the French club being on his trail for almost a year now.
It looks like the French giants have realised that it does not make sense to pursue Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese magician continues being important to Man City and it looks like his stay will be extended here.
Even if he leaves, it has looked for a very long time now that Silva wants either Man City or Barcelona. With the Spanish club in a precarious financial position, they will not be able to pull a deal off for the Portuguese midfielder.
Pep Guardiola rates Bernardo very highly and he continues to be one of the first names on the team sheet. For a manager like Pep who loves to rotate his players, the Portuguese features in the starting XI quite a lot.
There are not many players in the world who are like the Portuguese. He is unbelievably hard-working, keeps running around for the entirety of the game and is everything that you can ask for in a midfielder and an inside forward.
His tactical versatility means he can start in one position and easily move into different roles in the game and Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will no doubt want to keep him for as long as they can.
