Manchester City are set to offer five-times Champions League winner Toni Kroos a huge transfer fee. The Champions look to strengthen their squad in a bid to conquer Europe further.
The Spaniard is not content with the historic treble and wants to make glory a habit. The German midfielder will be available for free next summer and Man City would be more than willing to play Kroos and KDB together. Oh damn! hearing it gives us goosebumps already, doesn’t it?
Real Madrid too is in a transitional phase with young players like Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Valverde, and Camavinga becoming the face of this elite club. That being said, Kroos too would be looking for a new adventure after having an overwhelming adventure with the Spanish capital.
Manchester City have added a fair share of new talent in Gvardiol, Nunes, Mateo Kovacic, but none with experience of Champions League titles. Adding Kroos to their list will be mixing experience with a talented young squad.
Should Kroos join Real Madrid, he will see his wages doubled, and at the age of 33, this deal surely sounds lucrative until the mighty Saudis arrive.
According to the reports, Toni Kroos is currently being offered €9m per year at Real Madrid and will be paid €18m per year for a two year contract with Manchester City.
