Manchester City have ended months of speculations as 17-year-old winger Liam Smith has secured a £200,000 switch to English champions Manchester City.
The Scottish lad was targeted by likes of Rangers and Liverpool but the Cityzens have succeeded in bringing him to Etihad.
Kilmarnock were very persuasive about keeping their brightest prospects, but when City knocks the door – keeping any player might turn out to be a task. They will receive compensation as FA Rules of £200,000.
Smith will start next week with the Blues from Manchester, which will be followed by Scholarship contract of three years in June.
