Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne could be set to make his comeback after the international break against Burnley on October 20 at Etihad stadium.

According to ESPN FC, Man City felt its too big a risk to opt him against Liverpool on Sunday.

The 27-year-old enjoyed a brilliant campaign last season, scoring eight goals and assisting 16 as City romped to Premier League success. This season he has just played 31 minutes for his side this campaign.

Belgium have opted to leave out Kevin de Bruyne from the Belgium squad for the Nations League clash with Switzerland in Brussels on Oct. 12 and the friendly against Netherlands four days later.

De Bruyne suffered lateral collateral ligament (LCL) lesion in his right knee injury during training at the beginning of new season and although it was initially feared he would be out for three months he was back in training 54 days later.
