Manchester City starlet Joel Ndala is set to join PSV Eindhoven on an initial-loan spell with an obligation-to-buy clause should certain criteria be met.

The 18-year-old is believed to be currently undergoing his medical tests ahead of his move to the Netherlands. Following the loan spell, should certain criteria be met, PSV will be obligated to buy Ndala for a reported €7 million, potentially rising up to €10 million with add-ons. Man City have also included a buy-back clause and a relatively high sell-on clause in the terms of the deal.

The winger is considered as one of the most promising young talents in Europe, with PSV securing his signature after plenty of enquiries from multiple clubs including AC Milan. Ndala will be contracted with PSV till 2029 should the deal be made permanent.

Ndala signed for the Manchester City academy in 2017 as a ten-year-old, joining from Port Vale. The winger impressed for the Cityzens’ youth teams and was called up to the senior team competing in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup. The teenager was also involved in City’s pre-season tour of the USA, making substitute appearances against Celtic and Chelsea.

However, despite his immense talent, Ndala is yet to have made his senior competitive debut for City. The winger played 23 games for City’s youth teams across various competitions last season.

The teenager is also an England youth international, having represented the Three Lions in the under-16, under-17 and under-18 categories. Notably, Ndala was called up for the FIFA U-17 World Cup last year and scored the winning goal against Iran in the final.

Man City Core wishes Joel Ndala the best of luck for his move to PSV Eindhoven.
