Lionel Messi joined up with his Argentina team-mates on Tuesday at CFA ahead of Friday’s international friendly with Italy.
Nicolas Otamendi and former City keeper Willy Caballero also trained with the rest of squad. Manchester City all-time leading goal scorer Sergio Aguero watched his team mates trained.
Aguero confirmed he is set to miss approximately two weeks of action due to a knee injury which forced him to miss City’s last victory over Stoke. Sergio Aguero was included in Jorge Sampaoli’s squad representing Argentina for the friendly fixtures despite discomfort in his left knee earlier in the month.
