Pep Guardiola cruised past his renowned compatriot Jose Mourinho after he won his 26th career title in Premier League. The Portuguese manager has 25 titles under his belt.
On May 19, Pep Guardiola can make it his 27th if he wins it against Watford, which he would surely do even in his dream. The mantra for Guardiola’s win is yet to be disclosed but the manager does love to do so.
In a recent interview, Guardiola said:
“When you win, you take a shower and then you want to win the next one and the next,” Guardiola told BBC Sport.
“It makes your life better and easier. Winning helps to win more and it helps to make this club better.”
“If we don’t win, it does not change my life or opinion of what we have to do next season.”
Pep Guardiola is aware of the threat Watford can be and ways by which they can make us mourn. However, the Spaniard is all set to face the mighty force before clinching his 27th title of the season. Ahead of Guardiola are only a few managers with such huge achievement, Alex Ferguson on the top with 49 titles in his over-exemplary career.

Let’s hear it from the legend himself on how he feels going into an all important final which is important for him personally as well as for his squad that are vying a historic clean sweep.
“Watford and Wolves are the best teams outside of the top six. They were consistent teams, Everton were up and down, Leicester finished incredibly well under Brendan Rodgers. Watford with Javi Gracia, he is an experienced manager from working in other countries and I think he is an excellent guy, an excellent manager and knows exactly what to do.
“They have huge talent up front, many physical players, good on set pieces and this is a final, we know what can happen. We believe a lot in ourselves and we will have to find the antidote to beat them.
“It is a cup final, anything can happen like a red card. They can prepare the final better, they can make a strategy we did not expect. In one game, anything can happen.
“Normally the better team wins but a decision of the referee could make the difference. In the Premier League you have another chance and can be more relaxed, but this is completely different.”
