Savinho and links with Manchester City have appeared in the rumours mills in last couple of weeks, and according to reports by AS yesterday – the Blues from Manchester have already reached an agreement with Troyes for Savinho who is on loan as Girona (another of City Football Group’s sister club) for the ongoing season. The report also states that the clubs are already ironing out the final details in the agreement, with Savinho having accepted the terms as well.
In today’s version of AS, also states how Savinho is the first of the big expected losses for Girona with what is a memorable season in La Liga – the publication terms this as ‘first confirmed loss’ of Girona’s season. The probable deal with Man City ‘opens a dangerous and a long-awaited exit door’ as Girona risk losing other stars in the summer.
Since Girona, Troyes, and Manchester City are all under the ownership of the City Football Group, AS suggests that the transition to Manchester City was the most logical step for the South American player.
