Manchester City are set wear the iconic paisley pattern on some of their away fixtures for the 2020/21 Premier League season, as we preset you the leaked third kit for the next season.
This seasons peach and yellow third kit was a bit estranging, but the next seasons third kit could prove to be a hit – IF leaked reports stand correct.
According to FootyHeadlines, who are known for leaking kits notoriously, Manchester City’s third kit will use a color combination of ‘Whisper-White‘ & ‘Peacoat’, otherwise known as light beige and navy. Yet the highlight of the jersey is classic floral Paisley pattern which seem to have some homage with the City of Manchester and its historic music scene.
The Footyheadlines report quote City’s kit-manufacturer Puma as saying: “Manchester’s music scene has always been an influence on other bands worldwide. The iconic TV program “Top of the Pops” was run by the BBC, from 1964 – 2006, originally recorded in the city itself. The Man City 20-21 third kit takes inspiration from the Paisley floral pattern which was intrinsically associated to the “Brit Pop” music scene of the 1960s and 1990s.”
Puma took over Nike as Manchester City’s kit sponsor last year and have already impressed fans with their unique approach and aw-spiring designs, and the Germany based brand is all set to take everyone by awe as they continue with their ‘crafted from culture’ theme.
